Gorgonzola Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Finely chopped onion |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | All-purpose flour |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Milk |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Crumbled bleu cheese |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Dry white wine |
Cook onion in hot margarine or butter until tender but not brown. Stir in flour. Add milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir in the 1/4 cup cheese and wine.
