Fresh Greens With Honey Jalapeno Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Finely-shredded lime peel |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lime juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1 | Ground nutmeg | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Salad oil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Chopped jalapeno pepper |
4 cups | 948ml | Salad greens |
1 | Orange | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sliced almonds - toasted |
In a blender container combine lime peel, lime juice, honey, and nutmeg. With blender running, add salad oil in a steady stream through opening in lid. Add jalapeno pepper; blend just until combined. Cover and chill.
At serving time, place greens in a bowl. Using a sharp knife, remove and discard peel and white membrane from orange. Thinly slice orange; quarter each slice. Add orange and almonds to greens. Drizzle with dressing; toss.
