Fresh Cranberry Relish Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 177ml | Apple juice |
2/3 cup | 131g / 4.6oz | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground nutmeg |
1 | Ground cloves | |
12 oz | 340g | Cranberries |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Golden raisins |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Pecans - chopped |
Leaf lettuce - (optional) |
In a medium saucepan combine juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add cranberries and raisins. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutes, or until cranberries pop. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly until serving time. If desired, garnish with leaf lettuce.
