French Style Cream Cheese Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Cream cheese - softened |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Margarine or butter - softened |
1 | Garlic clove - minced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Parsley - snipped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Water |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | White wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Herb de Provence - crushed |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Seasoned salt |
Fresh thyme - (optional) | ||
Assorted crackers |
In a medium bowl stir together cream cheese, margarine or butter, garlic, parsley, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, herb de Provence, and seasoned salt. Cover and refrigerate overmnight.
To serve, garnish with fresh thyme, if desired. Serve with crackers.
