| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | English mustard |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly ground black pepper |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | Garlic | |
| 1/2 | Onion (medium) | |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Lemon juice |
| 1 | Bay leaf | |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Sharp salad dressing |
| 3/4 cup | 246g / 8.7oz | Maple syrup |
| 1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Butter |
| Chili powder |
Mix, bring to a boil and simmer one hour.
Remove onion and bay leaf.
