J&J's Outdoor Style Hickory Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | White or cider vinegar |
1 cup | 237ml | Ketchup |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Brown sugar |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Soy sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dry mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | MRS. DASH seasoning - optional |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Tomato paste |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Liquid smoke flavoring |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Kitchen bouquet seasoning sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Onion - finely chopped (small) |
Stir until brown sugar dissolves.
Make the night before and let stand in the refrigerator.
Put it on.
