Charlotte Smoked Pork Sandwich Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dry mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cayenne |
1 | Garlic - minced | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili powder |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vinegar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Chicken broth |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
1. Heat sauce ingredients 20 minutes but do not boil.
2. Pour on pulled and chopped pork and steep overnight in refrigerator.
3. Skim off fat and place pile of pork on bun.
4. Heat and serve with coleslaw on bun or on the side.
