Cattle Ranch Barbecue Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vinegar |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Bacon grease or 1 cup Wesson oil |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Butter |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Black pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cayenne |
3 | Onion - chopped | |
1 | Worcestershire sauce 10 oz | |
1 | Ketchup - 24 oz | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Celery salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic salt |
Combine all ingredients and simmer on very low fire for at least 20 minutes.
Makes sauce for 25 lbs of meat.
Excellent for spareribs.
