Bourbon Peach Barbeque Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - chopped finely (small) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Crushed fresh garlic |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Tomato puree |
1/2 | Chili sauce | |
1/2 | Tomato paste | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Bourbon |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 cup | 237ml | Peach preserves |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cayenne pepper |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | White or cider vinegar |
Heat a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Add tomato puree, garlic and onion to the pan and saute. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and increase temperature to high heat.
Bring sauce to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
