Bill's Spicy and Tangy BBQ Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Black pepper, freshly ground |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Seasoned salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice, freshly squeezed |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Turbinado raw sugar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Yellow mustard |
1 cup | 237ml | Ketchup |
1/2 cup | 118ml | White vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Habanero hot sauce* - to taste |
* I use one called "Hotter Than Hell Hot Sauce"
Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a slow boil.
Whisk well to mix in the mustard.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
This sauce is great for pulled pork sandwiches.
