Big Boy Barbecue Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

28 oz 795gKetchup
12 oz 340gChili sauce
1/3 cup 78mlPrepared mustard
1 tablespoon 15mlDry mustard
1 1/2 cups 240g / 8.5ozBrown sugar - firmly packed
2 tablespoons 30mlFreshly ground black pepper - coarsely ground
1 1/2 cups 355mlWine vinegar
1 cup 237mlFresh lemon juice
1/2 cup 118mlBottled steak sauce - thick
1   Tabasco sauce - to taste
1/4 cup 59mlWorcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce
2 tablespoons 30mlSalad oil
12 oz 340gBeer
  Minced garlic - if desired

Recipe Instructions

Combine all ingredients except the garlic and mix well.

Pour into pint jars to store.

The sauce may be stored for several weeks in the refrigerator.

For longer storage, freeze in freezer.

About an hour before using the sauce, add the garlic if desired.

Makes 6 pints.
