Bentley's Abercrombie Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Apple cider vinegar |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Ketchup |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Water |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Dark brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
Cayenne pepper - to taste |
In a medium saucepan, combine the vinegar, ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Simmer on low heat for 10-20 minutes.
Cool and store in the refrigerator.
