Belly's Paluxy River Sweet Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dark molasses |
1/2 cup | 164g / 5.8oz | Pure maple syrup |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter - ( pure cow) |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Corn oil |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange juice |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Good cider vinegar |
1 cup | 237ml | Good bourbon plus one good drink for the cook |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Catsup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh minced garlic |
2 | Yellow onions minced | |
1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Dark brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
A good all round Sauce, But please serve it on the side.
Mix all ingredients together and let cook on low heat for about 1/2 hour to 1 hour.
Taste and add red pepper, black pepper and salt to your taste.
