Barbecue Sauce - Texas Style Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion - diced (large) |
2 | Garlic - pressed or | |
Diced fine | ||
1 | Juice of one lemon | |
1 | Grated peel of one lemon | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Bottled hot pepper sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
1 | Sage |
Combine ingredients; stir and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with broiled chicken or ribs.
