| 20 | Garlic - finely chopped | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Onion - finely chopped |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chili flakes |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Corn oil |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tomato paste |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Red wine vinegar |
| 2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Molasses |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Mustard powder |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco sauce |
In a food processor, puree the tomatoes, and set aside.
In a 1 1/2 quart saucepan, saute the garlic, onion, and chili flakes in oil for 2 minutes.
Add the pureed tomatoes and remaining ingredients, and simmer for 15 minutes, uncovered.
Makes 2 cups
