Barbecue Sauce - 10 Recipe - Cooking Index
12 oz | 340g | Ketchup |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Molasses |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cider vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Barbecue spice rub |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dry mustard |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Onion powder |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Smoke flavoring |
Combine all ingredients well. Place in small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for one hour.
Variations: add cayenne pepper for hotter sauce. Increase liquid smoke for smokier sauce.
