Barbecue Sauce - 08 Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Oil |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
2 | Garlic | |
1 cup | 237ml | Ketchup |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Pepper |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Vinegar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sugar |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mustard - {prepared} |
Fry the onions and garlic in the oil until clear.
Stir all the above until mixed and simmer approx. 1/2 hour.
This is an old family recipe about 50 years old it is delicious with any type of meat.
