Barbecue Sauce - 01 Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Onions - chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic - chopped |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Sweet pepper - chopped |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Parsley - dried |
1 cup | 237ml | Dry white wine |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vinegar |
2 cups | 474ml | Ketchup |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Lea & Perrins |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Mint - dried |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Liquid smoke |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Louisiana hot sauce |
Place all ingredients in a pot that is big enough to hold them. Bring to a boil.
Cook, covered, on low heat for several hours.
