1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Grated cheddar cheese |
1 | Cream of chicken soup | |
1 | Ground cloves | |
4 oz | 113g | Cooked spaghetti |
2 1/2 cups | 365g / 12oz | Cooked turkey - chopped |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Onion - diced (medium) |
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:
1/4 | Green bell pepper - chopped
2 oz | 56g | Pimientos - chopped |
1 | Boiled egg - chopped | |
1/2 | Sliced black olives
1 | Sliced mushrooms |
Melt butter in a sauce pan, add onion (and pepper if used) cook until tender, about 4 or 5 minutes. Add flour and stir in milk, cook over medium low heat while stirring constantly until thickened. Add about 3/4th of the cheese and stir until it is well mixed. Add all other ingredients, including any options (me, I like the pimentos, boiled egg, and the black olives), and mix well. Place in an oven proof dish, sprinkle with the rest of the grated cheese and bake at 325F for about 45 minutes.
