Texas Hushpuppies Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Yellow cornmeal |
1 cup | 237ml | Buttermilk |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
2 | Jalapeno peppers | |
1/2 | Yellow onion - chopped | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Oil used for frying fish |
Salt and pepper - to taste | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Parsley flakes |
Mix all together and roll into long 1/2" logs. Cut into 2 to 3"
sticks. Have some hot where you fry been frying fish and drop into it a few at a time. They will fry in bout 3 to 5 min. Good eating.
