Smoked Fish Loaf Supreme Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Smoked fish flakes |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
1 1/2 cups | 219g / 7.7oz | Soft bread crumbs |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Melted butter |
3 | Egg yolks - beaten slightly | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced onions |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Celery |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
3 | Egg whites - beaten |
Scald milk. Add bread crumbs and butter. Beat until smooth. Combine with fish flakes, egg yolks, lemon juice, onion, celery, salt and pepper. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Grease loaf pan. Turn in fish mixture and bake at 350 F. for 35 minutes.
