Smoked Chili Salsa Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Chipotle chilies in adobo sauce | |
2 cups | 474ml | Boiling water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tomato paste |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Strong red wine or balsamic vinegar or - more to taste |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
Blend the chilies and water together in a food processor or blender until smooth. Add the other ingredients and blend again. Taste and adjust the flavorings as desired. Serve salsa with beans, eggs or in soups.
Makes 2 cups.
