Papaya Tomatillo Salsa Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Papaya, peeled, seeded - coarsely chopped (large) |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Tomatillos, husked - coarsely chopped (medium) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Red onion, finely diced |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced jalapeno |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Fresh lime juice |
1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Cilantro, coarsely chopped |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Honey |
Salt | ||
Black pepper, freshly ground |
Combine the papaya, tomatillos, onions, jalapeno, lime juice, cilantro, and honey in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Yield: about 3 cups
