Nogales Steak Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Garlic mashed with 1 t kosher salt | |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Fresh sour orange juice OR |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Fresh orange juice |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh lime juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tequila |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Ground chile peppers |
1 cup | 16g / 0.6oz | Fresh cilantro - chopped |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Mexican oregano |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Black pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil |
For 3 lbs. of meat. Whisk together all ingredients. Puncture meat all over with fork. Refrigerate overnight turning occasionally. Grill 6-8 minutes per side for med rare. Serve with salsa, guacamole, and pickled red onions.
