2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | White self-rising cornmeal |
1 | Egg | |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Fine chopped onions |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Shredded cheddar cheese |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Fine chopped jalapeno peppers |
1 cup | 237ml | Orange juice more if needed |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 | Table sugar |
Mix all in bowl until smooth, moist, stiff batter is formed. Cook and serve as above.
