Grilled Tri-Tip, Lompoc-Style Recipe - Cooking Index
4 lbs | 1816g / 64oz | Beef tri-tip roast |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry red wine |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon - juiced (medium) |
3 | Garlic - chopped | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dry mustard |
Combine oil, Worcestershire, soy, lemon juice, garlic and mustard. Marinate meat in sauce in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning several times.
Remove from refrigerator 2 hours before grilling.
Grill over medium heat about 15 to 20 minutes on each side, brushing frequently with marinade.
