Ginger Baste For Pork Recipe - Cooking Index
2/3 cup | 106g / 3.7oz | Brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornstarch |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Freshly grated ginger root |
2 | Cloves garlic - crushed | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Wine vinegar |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | MSG - (Optional) |
Combine ingredients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Let stand for at least 1 hour to blend flavors before using. Stir well before brushing on pork during cooking.
