1 | Shell macaroni - (7 ounces) | |
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise or salad dressing |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
2 | Garlic - crushed | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Shredded cheddar cheese - (4 ounces) |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Sliced green onions |
3 cups | 711ml | Bite size pieces lettuce |
3 cups | 187g / 6.6oz | Tomatoes chopped (large) |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Diced cooked smoked ham |
Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain. Combine macaroni, mayo or salad dressing ( which ever you like), salt, pepper, garlic and onions, garlic power and onion powder. (didn't measure the garlic & onion powder)
Layer lettuce, tomatoes, ham, cheese and macaroni mixture in large clear bowl. Cover and refrigerate.
The recipe called for the lettuce to be the first layer, but I made it the last layer. Didn't want my lettuce to faint.
