Danny Gaulden's Lemon-Butter Basting Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Melted butter or margarine |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | White pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lemon juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Paprika |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Celery salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Onion powder |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Granulated garlic |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
Just put the ingredients into a sauce pan and heat it up. Put the chicken halves in the smoker and keep that temperature at 240-250F. Mop the chicken every 30 minutes or so until it's done, 170F internal temperature.
