Danny Gaulden's Ice Cream Recipe - Cooking Index
1 3/4 cups | 346g / 12oz | Sugar |
3 | Raw eggs | |
1 | (4oz.) of vanilla junket | |
1 | Can of Pet milk (large) | |
2 | Cans of Pet milk (small) | |
1 | Milk | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Or more of vanilla extract |
Water as much as needed |
Try this one. Mix all ingredients together, but do not cook them. Makes one gallon.
Remember that you don't fill barrel all the way to the top. Leave a couple of inches for expansion of the ice cream as it freezes. This recipe is the best I've ever made for a down home, homemade flavor. However, it is not for folks that are afraid of raw eggs. Another Gaulden original, for better or worse.
