Recipe Ingredients

6 cups 375g / 13ozBeef-sliced - (3 lb arm/chuck)
3 cups 711mlBroth - (or less)
4 tablespoons 60mlSauce-Worcestershire
3 tablespoons 45mlVinegar
1/2 cup 118mlCatsup
2 tablespoons 30mlMustard-prepared
5 tablespoons 75mlLemon juice
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozBrown sugar - (not pack tight)
  Salt and pepper to taste
2   Onions - (2 med)
2 cups 220g / 7.8ozCelery
3 tablespoons 45mlButter/oleo/bacon fat
  Mushrooms - (if desired)

Recipe Instructions

Cook meat until tender.

Save 3 cups of broth saute 4 (2 med) chopped onions and 2 cups celery in about 3 tablespoons butter/oleo/bacon fat.

May also add mushrooms. Add onions and celery, mushrooms to broth and cook.

Meat-heat and serve on buns.

All ingredients can be placed in a crock pot, (meat uncooked, broth=water).
