Sweet Potato Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Brown sugar |
1 cup | 237ml | Mashed sweet potatoes* |
3 | Eggs | |
1/3 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Corn syrup |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vanilla |
1 cup | 237ml | Pecans |
*Bake the sweet potatoes don't boil them
Cream together butter and sugar. Add mashed sweet potatoes. Add syrup, milk, salt, vanilla and pecans. Roll out dough. Line with pecans. Add mixture.
Bake at 425F for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 375F and bake 35-45 minutes.
