1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Light brown sugar |
4 | Whole cloves | |
3 | Allspice | |
3 | Cinnamon | |
10 | Raisons | |
1 | Salt | |
1 | Whole grated nutmeg | |
1 | Orange - sliced - seeded | |
1 | Lemon - sliced - seeded | |
2 | Fresh cider | |
Captain Morgan spiced rum |
Combine sugar, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, raisons, salt, 1/2 oranges slices, 1/2 lemon slices, and cider in a large heavy pot. Heat, just simmering, for 10 minutes. Do not bring to a boil.
Strain.
Serve hot with remaining orange and lemon slices for garnish.
Add rum to taste.
