Cornbread - The Bear's Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | All-purpose flour |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Yellow cornmeal |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
2 | Eggs | |
1 cup | 237ml | Whipping cream |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Vegetable oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl, beat the eggs.
Add cream, oil, and honey to eggs -- beat well. Stir into the dry mixture just until moistened.
Pour into a greased 9 in. baking pan.
Bake at 400F for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes clean.
