Barbecued Cube Steak Recipe - Cooking Index

1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Flour seasoned with |
Salt and pepper | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Fat |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Onion (medium) |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Catsup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 118ml | -- water |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
Flour and season steak and brown in fat. Add chopped onion, brown lightly.
Mix ingredients, pour over steak. Cover slightly. Cook slowly 35 minutes, or until steak is tender.
