Barbecue Meat Loaf Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Finely chopped onion |
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Finely chopped celery |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Catsup |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Egg whites (large) |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Dry bread crumbs |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Liquid smoke |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Black pepper |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground round |
Place all ingredients except beef in mixer bowl and mix at low speed to blend well.
Add beef to catsup mixture and mix at low speed until blended. Do not over-mix.
Shape into a loaf about 3 1/2" x 7". Place in a pan that has been sprayed with pan spray or lined with aluminum foil.
Bake at 325F.
About 1 hour or until browned and firm. Pour off any fat and drippings and let set equal slices. Serve 1 slice per serving.
