1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Green bell pepper - chopped (medium) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
2 | Baked beans - with liquid - (31 oz) | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Hot salsa |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Grated sharp cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Dry bread crumbs |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
Combine onion, pepper, garlic, beans, salsa and honey in a 2-quart casserole dish. Combine cheese, bread crumbs and seasonings. Spoon over bean mixture. Bake uncovered at 350F until mixture is hot and top is browned -- about 45 minutes.
