Brussels Sprouts Tossed In Orange Butter Recipe - Cooking Index
750 | Brussels sprouts | |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Fresh orange juice |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Orange rind - grated |
Salt & pepper |
Trim and clean the sprouts. Cut the large ones in half, lengthwise. Steam the sprouts for about 10 minutes, until barely tender when pierced with a knife. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the sprouts and heat through. Toss with orange juice, rind, salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
