Yummy Cheese Spread Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Shredded longhorn cheese |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped fine (large) |
4 | Chopped ripe olives | |
2 | Chopped green chiles | |
1 | Tomato sauce | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vegetable oil |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | White wine vinegar |
Crushed garlic - to taste | ||
1 | French bread loaf |
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Slice a loaf of French bread lengthwise and hollow out a shallow trough in each half. Mound spread on each half.
Tightly wrap each in aluminum foil and bake at 325F for 45 minutes. Slice into serving size pieces and serve hot.
