White Radish Relish Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Daikon - coarsely shredded |
(white oriental radish) | ||
2 | Green onions - thinly sliced (medium) | |
1 | Red chili pepper - seeded, finely (small) | |
Chopped | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Rice vinegar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Soy sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Canola oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Toasted sesame oil |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
This relish has a real kick; serve it with Korean Barbecued Beef and other mild foods.
Combine daikon, onion and chili in a bowl. In another bowl combine remaining ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
Pour over daikon mixture. Cover and chill up to 24 hours. Makes 16 servings.
