Whiskey Sausage Recipe - Cooking Index
5 lbs | 2270g / 80oz | Sausage - sliced-2" pieces |
2 cups | 320g / 11oz | Brown sugar |
2 cups | 474ml | Ketchup |
4 oz | 113g | Whiskey |
Mix sugar, ketchup and whiskey. In a crock pot, layer with sausage, sauce, sausage, sauce etc.
Cook overnight on low. I used this recipe for deer sausage and let it cook in the oven for about 1 hr at approx. 325F and served it in a big clay pot.
