Water Chestnut Hors D'oeuvres Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bacon |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 | Water chestnuts | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Butter |
1/3 cup | 53g / 1.9oz | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Mustard |
Preheat the oven to 375F. Wrap each water chestnut in 1/2 strip of bacon. Secure each with a toothpick.
Bake until the bacon is done (about 40 minutes). Remove to a chafing dish.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat. Pour over the chestnuts. Keep warm. Serve
