Tonkatsu Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Ketchup |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Rice wine |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Soy sauce |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Worcestershire sauce |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Sugar |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Rice wine vinegar |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Yellow mustard |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground allspice |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground clove |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
Mix all ingredients together in medium-size bowl and whisk until thoroughly blended.
Use as a sauce with tonkatsu and katsudon, or as a sauce to accompany grilled chicken, turkey, pork, steaks or fish.
