Tomatillo Guacamole Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Avocado - (1 medium) |
Peeled and halved | ||
11 oz | 312g | Tomatillos - (1 can) drained |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Chopped onion |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped fresh cilantro |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lime juice |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Seeded minced serrano chile |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
Place the avocado and tomatillos in food processor, and process until smooth.
Spoon mixture into a medium bowl; stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and chill 1 hour. Yield: 2 cups (serving size: 1/3 cup).
