Tex-Mex Dip - 3 Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
3 | Avocados - medium size | |
1 cup | 237ml | Sour cream |
1 | Taco seasoning mix packet | |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Green onions - chopped |
7 oz | 198g | Olives - chopped |
Tortilla chips | ||
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Mayonnaise |
21 oz | 596g | Bean dip - plain or jalapeno |
3 | Tomatoes - seeded and chopped | |
8 oz | 227g | Sharp cheddar cheese - grated |
Peel, pit and mash avocados in medium bowl. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper. In separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.
To assemble, spread bean dip on a large, shallow platter. Top with avocado mixture. Put on sour cream and taco mixture. Sprinkle wit chopped onions, tomatoes, and olives. Cover with shredded cheese.
