Sweet And Sour Meatball Appetizer Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Breadcrumbs |
1 | Egg | |
1 | Onion - grated (small) | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly ground pepper |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Canned chili - (without beans) |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Grape jelly |
1 | Lemon - juice of |
Combine first 7 ingredients and blend well. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
Combine remaining ingredients in medium saucepan and mix well.
Add meatballs, stirring lightly to coat with sauce.
Simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
