Broccoli In Cheese Custard Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Broccoli - cooked & chopped |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Cheddar cheese - grated |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper - ground |

1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Light cream |
Preheat the oven to 350F. Butter a (1 1/2 quart) baking dish. Put the chopped broccoli in. Sprinkle the cheese over. Beat the eggs lightly in a bowl Stir in the cream, salt and pepper. Stir into the broccoli and cheese mixture. Place the baking dish in a shallow pan with hot water half way up the sides of the baking dish. Bake until the custard is set (45-60 minutes). Serve.
