Stuffed Artichokes Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Whole milk ricotta cheese |
1 | Egg - lightly beaten | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated parmesan cheese |
Salt and freshly ground pepper - to taste | ||
4 oz | 113g | Black forest ham - in thin strips |
4 | Artichokes - cooked and, chokes removed | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Dry bread crumbs |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Melted butter |
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Blend the ricotta, egg, Parmesan and season to taste with salt and pepper. Blend in the ham. Stuff the artichokes and set them in a baking pan.
Add some water to the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and melted butter over the top and bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden.
