1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground beef or bulk sausage* |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Pepper |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion - chopped (small) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped green pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Prepared horse radish |
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Chopped celery |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped green onions |
1 | Tomato soup | |
Egg | ||
1 | Water | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hot sauce ** |
Servings: 6 * Raw
** More or less to taste
Combine all ingredients except tomato soup, water and hot sauce. Mix together well. Make balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place in baking dish. Combine tomato soup, water and hot sauce and pour over meatballs.
Bake, covered, in 350F oven for 1 hour. Makes 30-36 small meatballs. Serve with toothpicks as hor d'oeuvres.
