Smoky Salmon Log Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Salmon - drained | |
1 | Cream cheese - softened | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Prepared horseradish |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Liquid smoke flavoring |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt - or to taste |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped green onions |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped pecans |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped fresh parsley |

Place salmon in a large mixing bowl. Flake and remove any large pieces of skin or bones. Add cream cheese, lemon juice, horseradish, liquid smoke, salt and green onion. Mix until smooth.
Cover bowl and chill several hours. Shape into a log. Mix pecans and parsley, then spread on a sheet of waxed paper. Roll the chicken log in the nut mixture to coat evenly.
Place on a serving dish and serve with onion or sesame crackers.
